Many thanks to all our sponsors who have generously contributed to this year's Raffle and Fundraising event for the Silva Bay Shipyard School.
We are raffling six baskets with a maritime theme--three baskets involve an outing in kayaks or a sail and oar boat with a picnic basket filled with made on Gabriola goodies; the others are "Sea Chandlrey" baskets including boat plans, nautical books, tracker/messenger, and a hand-held VHF.
The raffle draw will be held at the Maritime Festival, April 4th at 8pm at the Silva Bay Resort.
Raffle tickets will be on sale in the Village, at the Silva Bay Resort, and the Shipyard School.

The 2009 Silva Bay Maritime Festival and Wooden Boat Seminars, the raffle and festival organisation as well as this web site were put on as benefits for the Shipyard School on an independent non-profit volunteer basis.
